Gmail recovery with new number and forgot passwords
Needing password for gmail that I don’t have the same number for

It sounds like you're attempting to reset the password for your Apple ID which is a Gmail account, is that correct? If you have another trusted device Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication provides some alternate ways of getting a verification code. If none of those are an option or are unsuccessful, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account. During the account recovery process, you can change the phone number where you'd like to receive the verification code. Keep in mind, you'll need to know the trusted phone number that was originally set up on the account in order to do so.
