Would the air tag work on a dog!?

Will the AirTag work on a pet? I’d love this for my deaf dog and new adventurous puppy!

Yes it will work with an iPhone XR and as you already stated Precision Finding will not. But remember these use Bluetooth which has a limited range.

Hi- I read the information. I could not deduce whether or not it would work well. I would think so as a dog can not turn off any tracking devices, but am still unclear. Also can an iPhone XR work with it. It sounds like it can- less the arrow tracking part. Can anyone confirm?

Thank you! That was very helpful. I just googled the distance for an average Bluetooth device- looks like 30 feet. Having said that- with a phone that enables Precision Finding, does that increase the distance for finding an object- can you be much further away than 30 feet. I would think so, but not sure.
