MacBook Air M1 will not go to sleep when closing the lid.

hey. All of the sudden my MacBook Air M1 won’t go to sleep when I close the lid. All my settings are at default, no external monitors. Can someone help?

My MacBook M1 goes to sleep even though is set up not to Hi, I have a new MacBook Air M1, I've configured all settings so it doesn't go to sleep. In both battery and power adapter is set up to never go to sleep In power adapter I've selected "Prevent computer from automatically going to sleep" Deactivated screen saver And the computer still goes to sleep after a few minutes.

MacBook Pro 13" Monterey 12.1 won't sleep when lid is closed Hope someone can help. I just got this laptop and I can't get it to sleep when I close the lid. There is nothing connected to it, like an external display. At the moment, I am having to shut the machine down. There have been some threads on this but no solutions as yet.

Try startup in Safe Mode. Choose the appropriate method.

This involves two restarts.
