Can you share AirTags with family members?
Can two accounts track the same airtag? Can me and my wife track the same airtag if we are in the same family account?

If it were possible to share an AirTag, then it would be impossible to stop coercion. Someone in a domestic abuse situation could be made to share access to their AirTag and Apple has therefore prevented this.

Ageee! The lack of the ability to share a airtag for a pet is a huge oversight. And leaves us quite frustrated. Ugh!!

Allowing you to share airtag with your wife (or any other human over 18) is equivalent to “TRACKING THAT PERSON”….
Mega trouble for Apple.
We bought ours specific to find out daughter with autism, who has a tendency to run off. It’s essential that my husband and I are both able to find her in these emergency situations.
:-( that is a huge problem. I need to be able to share AirTags with my family members!!
This is so disappointing. I don’t see how this ever made it out of QA. My wife and o share a set of keys. What happens if she is out and misplaces them? The find feature will be useless.
Remember it doesn’t beep for at least eight hours and may be up to 24 hours after it is separated from the owners phone.
It so stupid that we can’t use the same air tag for 2 people. My wife and I use each other’s cars so sometimes. What about shared luggage etc? Seems like they didn’t think this through
How is it a privacy issue for "items" and not iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc.? I don't understand the difference. Could you explain, please?
