Device Driver Software was not successfully installed

Ugh! Just wondering if anyone can help me figure this out, whenever I plug in my iphone 4 into my computer I get a message saying "Device driver software was not successfully installed" and then it says, digital still camera. 😟 thanks ahead of time!

Mines did too. Try restarting your computer that fixed mine. Also As Phil stated whats your computer and what OS?

Must be a PC. Do you have iTunes 9.2 or higher installed?

haha yes well it's a PC. I also have both the updated itunes and iphone software. I also restarted my computerr too and it didn't help. I made an appointment to talk with someone from apple so hopefully they can guide me through fixing it

What operating system, and what chipset? 32 or 64 bit architecture?
