New phone purchase connect to carrier

I just purchased a new iPhone and didn’t see the prompt to get that connected to my carrier. How do I do that?

If you are keeping the same phone number take the SIM out of the old phone and put it in the new phone. Otherwise call your carrier and ask for a new SIM, or, if it is an iPhone 11 or later for eSIM activation.
