Consolidating Emails from 2 accounts in a single Inbox

I have 2 email accounts: iCloud and Google (gmail). Both show in the left margin, indented under "All Inboxes". When I click on iCloud or Google I can see all my mails in each of these account. But when I click on "All Inboxes" I see no messages. Can this be remedied? Thank you.

That's a weird one.

As you'd expect, the normal behavior would be that "All Inboxes" shows the contents of both inboxes combined.

If you haven't yet, do a backup first.

Then you can try selecting "All Inboxes" and doing Mailbox->Rebuild.

I've just done what you suggested , and it seems to have worked so thank you for that!

Another Mail problem you may be able to help with: I use about 30 mailboxes in my Mail program - some with sub-mailboxes -to organize my incoming mail. Although all of the sub-mailboxes appear (with the mail messages contained therein) when I go into Mail in iCloud, some of the sub-mailboxes show "no messages" in the mail program. How can I fix this?
