How to verify Paypal account for iCloud storage monthly payment?

Just went through this, so I thought I'd share my experience. Would not verify my Paypal account, just said "log into Paypal to verify your payment method". So I logged into my Paypal account using both Safari and the Paypal app on my phone, nothing there to "verify my Paypal account" for iCloud payment. Found that I had to follow the "use a different Paypal account" link in the iCloud Paypal payment verification window. That finally allowed me to log into my Paypal account and "verify my account". Talk about non-intuitive.

Wasted a bunch of time on this, hope that you see this message before you do that.
