Connect HomePod to a Wi-Fi network with a login page

Hi!

I have a question regarding the HomePods Wi-Fi network.

I’m going to a bungalow park where Wi-Fi is provided. It uses a login page where you need to tap ‘accept’ before it connects the device to the internet. I’m staying for some time and want to bring my HomePods. Is there any way this would work, if so, how?

Thanks a million.

No, it won't work. See this from If you can't set up HomePod - Apple Support:

  • HomePod doesn't support public or subscription networks with sign-in requirements. These networks are often in places such as businesses, schools, dorms, apartments, hotels and shops.

Specifically you must have a working Wi-Fi connection in order to set up HomePod or use it to stream content from the Internet. Once suitably configured it should be possible to use HomePod for peer to peer AirPlay when a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet isn't available. See Allow others to control audio on HomePod and allow access for Everyone. So perhaps there is a workaround after all. You might want to add a password.
