Safari is a browser, the website can use whatever they like to play videos.
Apple do not control the Internet.
When you are on their website, the code to run an embed video player cannot be changed.
Write to that website and ask.
But in iPhone it use the native iOS video player no website player
why apple doesn’t return safari videoplayer for IpadOS like before
