ipad ringing noise

My IPad suddenly starting making a sound similar to a dog whistle-like noise while I was in a app, I would like to know why it happened and if it was the apps fault

Not knowing what app you're talking about, if that happend using that app only, we should think that that noise is caused by that app itself.
