Digital Crown is Stuck on my iWatch!!

Hi,

The Digital Crown on my iwatch series 3 is stuck and the folks at the service centre say this is not covered under warranty as there is a presence of ‘liquid/other foreign material’. This is really frustrating since it’s only been 9 months since I bought and I’m being asked to pay for it when there isn’t any physical damage to the device. Anyone’s got a solution to this problem?
