transferring my music from my Mac book to my iPhone
I do not have the phone icon on the music window to be able to transfer music to my iPhone.

What version of macOS are you running? In Catalina and Big Sur music transfer is organized through Finder rather than Music. See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support.
