If it isn't on one of these lists then see Mac Service and Repair - Learn how to get your Mac desktop or Mac notebook fixed and how much it will cost. Click here --> https://support.apple.com/mac/repair/service

If it is obsolete or vintage and you don't live in one of the places that has laws requiring support, post back with your model and year.

Firstly, use a Apple battery or a high quality and trusted battery. Aftermarket batteries are tend to get hotter, swell easier and sometimes even explode. Secondly, the battery depends on your mac model and generation. It is recommended to check your model as in newer models, batteries are glued in place very strongly. If your MacBook Pro has glued battery, it is recommended to get some help from an apple authorized service unless if you are very good at mac hardwares.
