I tried to download a app on my iphone there was a problem I think I might get charged

I tried to download an app on my iphone there was a problem it was it did not because it was not compatible. The app did not load but I approved a payment how do I cancel? the app was free for 3 days and then they would charge me. It is not showing on my apple account so I don't know how to cancel.
