I received a message alerting me that a Kernel extension on my MacPro will be incompatible with newer versions of Mac OS. The message told me to contact the developer to resolve the issue, but I wasn't given any contact info. How do I find and contact this developer?

Well it’s possible I missed it. The alert came from the top right corner of my screen as usual and the message was just a link. From there it’s was all just general info about what an extension is and what it can do to my computer so I followed some help links which got me to you folks. But I couldn’t get back to that message. I did chat with apple support and they suggest a back up and reinstall. Thank for the reply.
Maybe if you said which extension it is, somebody here might know how to contact the developer.
Well that’s the problem isn’t it? I got zero contact info. Not even a name.
Strange. I have seen the message, but it always named the extension involved.
Can you give us the exact wording of the message or supply a screenshot of the dialog box?
