App store account disabled

My app store account was disabled. I think that my payment default in paypal was accidentally changed. How can I reinstate my account?

To my knowledge Apple would not disable an account due to a defaulted payment. In that case they would never get the payment corrected. This is more likely a security issue.


Here are instructions for correcting a disabled Apple ID: If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support


If it turns out you did have a default payment this should help you add a new payment method. You may need to delete then re-add your PayPal account after if you want to continue using it. If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
