How to transfer Audio or Audio Book from flash drive
I want to transfer music files and audiobooks from my flash drive, need guidance

You can use File > Add to Library in both apps to add media to them. If they are multipart audiobooks you might want to add them to Music first, then see Organizing audiobook chapters - Apple Community and tweak the metadata for best results, before adding the updated files to Books. Once in Books there are no options to edit metadata.
