You need to use the AirPlay feature found inside your TV app on your iPad when you first start playing content from the TV app ( the AirPlay feature is located where all the media play controls are when you start playing content within the TV app on your iPad.

if your Samsung TV is Apple AirPlay compliant, a pop-up option box should appear to be able to pick your Samsung TV to be “Airplayed”.

An AirPlay code should appear on your Samsung TV that you need to type into your iPad to activate AirPlay on your SamsungTV and start “AirPlay” streaming your video/movie/TV content from your iPad to your Samsung TV.

Good Luck to You!
