Missing Proxy Files after moving FCPX Project Library to another Hard-Drive

Hi, i have about 500 to 600 files in one FCPX Project Library and have made Proxy files for all of those while editing it on a hard-drive, then i moved everything over to another hard-drive since i wanted to work on with it in that drive. I relinked my original files and was all good, but as soon as i switched over to Proxy view missing Proxy Files Error came up for all the clips. I then selected all the clips and checked it's info in the side panel and it was green next to the Proxy text which indicated that there is Proxy Files for it, and also i went into the Project Library media folder and found all the Proxy Files there, and when i tried to relink it to the media Proxy folder it just did not relink. So it would be really great if someone can help me out with this problem.

Are the proxy files stored inside the library?

If they are, then: with FCP closed, try moving the proxy files out of the library and to another folder in the same drive.

Start FCP again and try to relink.

As Luis said you have to relink the proxies a well. Are you using and older version of FCP? In which case try regenerating proxies. Usually when it sees proxies in the correct location it automatically uses the existing files.

I’m confused. You said you had your 500-600 in a project library. Why did you have to relink if the media was in the library? Where is the media and proxies stored?

What OS and FCP versions are you using? The current version always proxy delinking.

Well, i have it in another folder and i org them like this as shown in the photo below 😃 i have my Media, Cache and Backups in different folders and have tried that way too but nothing same

I meant that i have 500-600 files in that project, and i am trying to get the proxies for it. I have a folder called media and have the proxies and media in there as shown in this shot thank you!
