Setting up Apply Pay on Stripe Checkout page

Hi All - I am trying to setup Apply Pay on my Stripe Checkout page on a desktop device so it appears where the green box is - see screenshot below. It works fine on my mobile device and Google Pay also works fine on my Desktop PC. See below.

From speaking with Stripe they have suggested I need to Create a Merchant ID. I've gone to the Apple Developer website and found the page titled "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles". I am then given the option to create a Certificate for a wide variety of software types, e.g. Apple Development, Apple Distribution, iOS App Development etc.....See screenshot below.

I have no idea which type of Certificate I need. I've been speaking with Stripe and they also have no idea so suggested I speak to Apple.

I am not a developer just a consumer, so please may someone who can explain in simple language guide me in the right direction please?
