HomeKit devices not responding - WiFi6

I recently added a WiFi6 access point to my home network. I found what I think is an issue in that any IoT devices that connect to the new wiFi6 access point would change to "Device not responding" in HomeKit. The device would still work in the devices native app it was only in HomeKit that it no longer worked. First noticed issue with a few devices and after some trouble shooting came to the conclusion that is was when the device was connected to the WiFi6 AP. So as a test I forced all my other IoT devices onto the wiFi6 AP and they all stopped responding in HomeKit and worked in their native apps. So at the moment I have the new AP disabled and all my devices are working fine in HomeKit connected to my other AP.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I use UniFi for my home network.
