iPhone says storage is low even though I’ve upgraded twice and now have 2 TB storage

It won’t let me download or take any more pictures and keeps saying I have no storage but I’ve paid and upgraded. What do I do?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

Sorry, but upgrading the amount of iCloud storage does not increase the storage space on your iPhone.

As such, you will still need to take measure to reduce the amount of apps/data on your phone to increase the amount of storage for other things.
