Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there.

Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes store. Please review your account information

I'm unable to finish reviewing my apple id. The error is coming from the "Area code" box. If I fill it in, the website says its incorrect, if I leave it blank as the pop note says, the website says I have to complete the entire form.

Can anyone please share how they got around this bug?
