Insta360 One X2 Camera interface

I purchased an Insta360 One X2 camera from the Apple Store. In USB mode you are supposed to be able to connect to an iOS device via a cable but that option is not appearing in the settings on the camera. I contacted Insta360 support and they said to contact Apple because Apple sells a special version of the camera that allows this function. I don't know where to submit this question to Apple Support because that product is not listed. Does anyone have any suggestions?
