Call history keeps deleting itself after 14.5 update

Recent update 14.5, that I did yesterday, deleted my call history but neither of my friends’ had that issue. When I restarted my iPhone 11 today to try if it will come back, it deleted my history from yesterday and kept only the one from today. Is it something I should be worried about? Is there a way I can get it back or fix it some this doesn’t happen to me every time I might need to restart my iPhone?

I really did not delete anything myself.

Thank you.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Hello adela147,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that after updating your iPhone to iOS 14.5, your call history was deleted and after restarting, the most recent history was also deleted.

Do you have iCloud Drive enabled on your iPhone under Settings > your name > iCloud > iCloud Drive? If so, do you have any other devices that you're using with the same Apple ID and iCloud Drive enabled? We're asking since iCloud Drive will sync call history across your devices: View and delete the call history on your iPhone.

Also, check to see that you have enough available storage on your iPhone under Settings > General > iPhone Storage: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Best regards.
