Why does MacOS Big Sur 11.3 CRASH every time I TRY to download it?

Why does MacOS Big Sur 11.3 CRASH every time I TRY to download it? I have tried (unsuccessfully) to download the Update at LEAST a Dozen Times! EACH time it Crashes BEFORE it finishes Downloading!

I have a Mac mini M1

Mine took two hours just to download the update and I’ve been waiting on the install for almost 2 hours. I’d suggest waiting unless you want to be down all day - I wish I had! Otherwise, check to see if you have enough hard drive space for the update and clean out unnecessary files before trying again.
