Apple Scales

New to this, so apologies if this is the wrong place to post about this.

Can Apple make this happen: Apple Scales

Food scale:

Allows you to weigh an amount of food and send the weight to an app on your phone (or incorporate it into the existing fitness app) which then allows you to take a picture of the health info on the food packaging and automatically update your calories consumed and your macros. You can make custom food tags and save commonly used food tags so you don’t have to take a picture every time.

No unit button is required as it would calculate for all units and use the unit that corresponds with the packaging or custom food tag.

Needs a Tare button for zeroing the scale

Needs a Send button for sending the new food weight profile to your phone app.

The App should also contain common food tags for commonly accepted nutrition values for certain foods (Like that of potatoes).

In the food fitness app you can also set macro goals, maintenance calorie consumption goals, and deficit calorie consumption goals based on info from the health app like weight, age, and activity as measured by the Apple Watch.

The app can be set to alert you when certain caloric intake goals have been met or if a certain meal will result in excess calorie consumption (and by how much).

Human Scale:

Allows you to automatically update and track your weight in the fitness app so that the Apple Watch can retain more accurate metabolic measurements. People who are aiming to lose a lot of weight likely don't want to have to update their weight in the health app everyday just to get more accurate Apple Watch measurements. This would alleviate that problem as well as it would allow individuals to easily track their weight on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

I feel like with COVID having a lot of people lead more sedentary lives this past year there is going to be an increasing demand for fitness app updates to quench the need to people to begin leading healthier lives again. A lot of the problem is that the journey to becoming a healthier individual can seem very time/effort intensive. Products such as those suggested in this post will benefit to consumer by allowing them to more easily lead a healthy lifestyle while also helping Apple expand there product line with products that work in conjunction with their existing products like the Apple Watch and the I-Phone. I don't know if other companies have produced products such as these, I just thought this seems very Apple and could only benefit the Apple experience and the Apple Ecosystem. I feel like this is a health enthusiast's dream as well. No more writing down macros in a notebook, no more plugging values into third party apps, everything would just work seamlessly and would maximize everyone's productivity while encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

You can send your suggestion to Apple here -> Feedback - Apple Watch - Apple

Have you check the Watch app store and/or App Store to see if something like this already exists? It sounds like something Apple would leave to 3rd party developers.
