How to clean your Apple products - https://support.apple.com/HT204172
"Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces. Don't use bleach. Avoid getting moisture in any opening, and don't submerge your Apple product in any cleaning agents. Don't use on fabric or leather surfaces."
Alcohol as indicated above might help dissolve the wax but it may take a bit of cleaning depending upon how much wax is on it.

It is candle wax. It was blown from candles that were on a birthday cake that was infront of a laptop during a family lockdown zoom! It sprayed over the screen, some bit of wax are larger some smaller.
What kind of wax? Furniture wax? Candle wax?
