I just updated to Safari 14.1 and now almost none of my favorites will open, it says a problem remedially occurred with this website

This seems to be similar to issues others are having after the Safari 14.1 update yesterday and it relates to JavaScript.
Test the following:
Turn off “Enable Javascript” in Safari: Preferences: Security
See if this resolves the the issue loading pages
If the page loads it is not a proper fix since pages are only partially complete and lack any Javascript functionality.
Me thinks Apple needs to deploy a fix.

so I did turn off enable Javascript and the website did come up but said it needed Javascript to run so I turned it back on and then I received the same message. I tried deleting the webpage from my favorites and just going directly to the website and the same message as before came up.
