Grey HomePod Mini mold smell

I just received my grey HomePod mini today and sent it back because of the mold smell. My wife has a mold allergy so we are both alert to the many scents of mold. This one tends to dampen your sense of smell after getting a big whiff you might think it has gone away but its’ more like your nose has short turn amnistia. I will order a white HomePod I have read that they don’t have this problem.
