Profanity filter

The only option you have is to reduce the age rating in the settings! I too don’t particularly enjoy hearing bad language however I have a very mature 13 yr old daughter that is very wise the the world around her and although she attends one of the best schools in the area sh3 hears far worse at school than on TV. Sadly it’s the way of the world around us.

apple is not responsible for how al, these programmes are made and certainly there is no technology available to remove profanity’s on the fly! So choices are quite simple either adjust your settings or your sensitivity?

Sorry, I meant to type "but you can't remove profanity from the content as you watch it."

You can stop access to content with profanity in the parental controls (General>Restrictions), but you can remove profanity from the content as you watch it.

I think you underestimate just how difficult something like that would be to automate. I’m only guessing but I wouldn’t expect something like that for some years to come.
