I’m trying to send an invite to my husband but it has his old email. His email is correct in my contacts how do I fix it in my calendar

Hi maddiesnana,
It seems you're having trouble inviting your husband by contact in Calendars and we want to help.
For now, let's try just typing in his correct email in the invitee field. That will allow you to add him to the event.
For his contact, which account do you have this saved to? Do you have accounts other than iCloud syncing contacts?
