FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update.

I'm having the same problem; ever since the watchOS 7.4 update my series 5 battery only lasts about 6 hours. Previously it would last all day, and the battery health indicator on the battery preferences screen says it still has 93% of its battery health.

It's definitely something wrong with the watchOS 7.4 update. There have been no other changes to my watch between the time that it kept a charge all day and now.

Same Problem here, and I already called the support and tried all workarounds recommend, which means, decoupling, set up as new load and switch of etc. Nothing changed . And even worse, my wife's watch has the same problem this is not acceptable!!!

Same issue. Recently just half of my battery just disappeared. Used to charge every morning with ~20% left, now it dies in evenings or during a day (charged same morning). Just no reason, no routines changed, activities as usual. Very annoying, tried to reset/restore, did not help.

So I ended up doing a full wipe and reinstall (without restoring from backup) and that seems to have fixed it. A shame I had to lose all my settings to do so.

Ugh, it started happening again the other day, and then the watchOS 7.5 update made it even worse. This is getting ridiculous.
