netflix and apple tv 3

Hello I have an apple tv 3 and since last night (28.04.21) i can no longer watch films on netflix. I can browse through the catalogue of netflix but cannot load any films? any clue?

Finally Netflix plays again BUT upon restarting my apple tv i have went to the software update section. Automatic update was already on but i needed to download and install the update. Then movies played again.

Which seems curious is why i Had to download and install updates when the automatic update was on and no message was popped up??

Does Netflix give an error message and code? Did you look up that code at the Netflix site?

Update 7.7 is pretty recent. Automatic updates are spread out over time a bit, to reduce server load. Possibly it would have happened automatically later this week.
