mac responsiveness on safari, when browsing on facebook or whatsapp

In the Safari browser I get this message: This web page is consuming a lot of memory. If you close it, it will improve the response of your MAC. It happens when I browse on Facebook or Whatsapp. That could be happening? My MAC is M1 from 2020.

Quit any apps you’re not using.

If you have problems with your disk, use Disk Utility to verify and try to fix any issues.

Use Activity Monitor to see if a particular app or activity is making a large demand on your Mac.

 Startup in Safe Mode:    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

    To exit Safe Mode, click  in the menu bar and choose “Restart”.


Launch Safari holding the Shift key down.
