Connection

The iPad Magic Keyboard does not use bluetooth at all. As I said it used the magnetic connector on the back of the iPad.

If its not working, try step 3 and then 4 in the support document I linked to above:

1. If your keyboard doesn't immediately respond, restart your iPad.
2. If your keyboard still doesn't respond, contact Apple Support.

The Magic Keyboard is not paired. It is just attached to the back of the iPad directly using the magnetic connector. There is no pairing involved.
