Apple Store reinstallation of Big Sur deleted, among other things, my applications folder on dock. I realize I can access same in launchpad but would like a folder. How to create a blue Applications Folder for the right side of the dock?

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu and drag the little icon at the top of the window there.

Control-click it and choose to display it as a folder.

It worked but what I see on the dock is the icon of the first application listed. Is that what I should see? Was hoping for just a blue folder but I'll take what I have. THANKS!
