How can I check my watch battery level from my iPhone?

Thanks so much for your reply! ButI must be doing something wrong… If I hold an empty space on the home screen it just makes all the apps wiggle, and there’s nothing named widget there.
But I think I found a solution. If I do a right swipe I get the screen I was looking for that shows the battery levels for all devices.
With a home screen widget;
On the phone home screen touch and hold an empty space.
Tap the + in the top left corner.
