IOS Upgrades

My IOS says I am up to date with version 12.5.2 on my iPhone 6 yet I need 13 at a minimum for some of the apps I want to download. How do I force an update to 13 or 14?

You can't. 12.5.2 is the highest it will go on an iPhone 6, it doesn't have the hardware to run the newer operating systems.

You will need to get a new phone if you want to use the latest iOS.

You don't. Your phone is too old. It is not compatible with iOS 13 or 14.

You will need to buy a newer phone.
