My delete button is not there, what should I do if I want to delete a contact?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you're missing the option to delete contacts. We'll do our best to assist.

You should have the option to delete contacts using the Contacts app on your iPhone. Scroll to the specific contact you wish to delete, select it, then tap Edit on the top right side. Then scroll down to the bottom of the contact to select, 'Delete Contact'.

With that said, if you select 'Edit' in the Contact, what options are you seeing at the bottom of the contact info? Do you have any restrictions enabled in Settings > Screen Time? Settings > Screen Time > Content & Restrictions?

Should it continue, please reply back and let us know the following:

• Are you syncing these contacts with a service (iCloud, Google, etc.)?
• What options do you have in Contacts > [Select a contact] > Edit?
• Did you have any restrictions enabled?
