I can no longer load websites I have always used on Safari

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

I can't load a website that I've visited many many times in the recent past. Why is it becoming increasingly difficult to load websites that I've used very recently using Safari? This process is becoming frustrating. Should I install another browser to do the job?
