XCODE 10.1 Update on 10.13.6 Tries to Install Other Components After Upgrade, But Quits With Unknown Error

Greetings All,

I have an old 17 inch MacBook Pro that I just got updated to 10.13.6, and had to update XCode. I successfully downloaded and updated XCode, but when I ran it, it stated it needed to update some critical components. When I selected Continue, it asked for my password (I am assuming the password for the account on the laptop, not my apple ID account). After entering the password, I received a dialog box that said some unknown error had occurred, and provided a link to the install log. I clicked this link, and found the following diagnostic information.

I am not sure what all these messages mean. Can someone who is familiar with XCode tell me what is going on? It's been a long time since I have used XCode, but now I need to use it to compile an application to use an RTLSDR USB receiver. Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated!

I see a CERT EXPIRED message, but I have no idea what certificate I need to update, nor how to go about updating it. Can anyone help, please?

Thank you, in advance for any assistance you may provide.

Best Regards,

Shane
