can i use external hard disk ? system supports or not?

If you are meaning Running Big Sur from an External Drive - yes. It would required Installing the Full Version of Big Sur to the External Drive. It would also require setting the Computer to use the External Drive as the startup disk. Further, if this computer has the Touch ID - you will have to read over here About Startup Security Utility and eEnable Booting from External Drive. Bt Default - this is NOT Enabled.
