Please add fingerprint unlock to iPhone 12

I love my iPhone 12 but please add back the fingerprint option!

I’m not crazy about facial ID...if I’m wearing a mask it is inconvenient, and sometimes I want to turn on my phone while driving to play music and it is safer to just use my finger.

How to turn on fingerprint in iPhoneX as FaceID doesn’t work with Mask How to turn on fingerprint in iPhoneX? These days wearing face mask, had to enter PIN all the time when go outside. Please help if there’s a way to enable or please introduce as we may have to live with masks for longer.

Why would Apple remove fingerprint id from the newer phones when that’s how a majority of folks open apps? An individual doesn’t always have the opportunity to hold the phone to their face? Definitely need an update to offer passcode, fingerprint, or face id.

The iPhone 12 has the required hardware for Face ID, it does not have the required hardware for Fingerprint ID.

Thank you. Disappointed to hear that, but I will have to get used to using Siri a lot more, I guess.
