Hello R.J. Wilson,

We understand that during the process of updating your Apple Watch, you are now seeing a pairing message that isn’t making any progress. Are you able to navigate the Watch app on your companion iPhone? Is the progress bar showing on your Apple Watch?

If you haven’t already since seeing this progress bar, let’s restart both devices.

Restart your iPhone

However, if your watch is in the process of updating, as opposed to pairing, let’s leave it on the charger and not restart it.

Once restarted, from the Watch app, please choose General > Reset > Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings if you can and then let’s try the update and pairing process again.

Thanks.
