Show attachment icon (paper clip) column in Mac Mail
Since updating mail to Big Sur - I have lost the ability to have a Mac Mail. Does anybody know how to get it back?

Hi Mulberry
No, it's when you select "use column layout" under the "view" pulldown menu - you see the various columns including "From", "Subject", "Date Received" etc. There used to be a column for "Attachments" as well - and they would show up in message with them as a paper clip symbol (like the dots show Unread emails).
You used to be able to add/subtract various columns (including this one) via the view pulldown in previous versions (I think) - I can't figure out how to do it with the new version. Do you know?
Thanks
Francis
Do you mean you don't see the icon when writing a new mail? In that case, start a new mail, look at the menubar and click on View, "Customize header bar" and add it
Perfect!! Thank you dialabrain.
Cheers
Francis
