We need automatic resolution switching for Apple Arcade on Mac

Hey,

most Apple Arcade (or App Store) games are optimized for iPads and iPhones and when you start them on even powerful Mac M1 16GB on a large display (4K, super-ultra wide, 5K or Retinas) many games struggle really hard and many of them do not support resolution change.

We need some common way to set resolution for games, by default they should start in 1080p or something like that that is known to work. Games themselves should be able to override this. There are some utilities out there which should help with that but I cannot get working any of these.

Apple Arcade and gaming on Apple is really promising, but if you own some weird super ultra wide or 4K screen, you are out of luck for many titles, unless you manually change resolution down to 1080p or something. That is really slow.
