mac m1 screen saver bug: has it been fixed ?

The 'screensaver takeover' bug affecting macos on M1 processor has been reported for a while, forcing users to deactivate fast user switching.

Has this bug been fixed by macos 11.3 ?

Deactivating fast user switching is definitely not an acceptable solution for anyone using a mac mini as a family shared desktop. Anyone aware of a different workaround that would not involved killing fast user switching ?

The lack of fix after 4 months for a bug that has been widely reported is concerning. Could it be that Apple could not find a way to fix it through a software patch ?

Would be great to have some feedback from imac M1 users when they become available.

Mac mini, macOS 11.2

If you haven't done so, in the future you can check what each update does before you download it. If I remember correctly, that information is available under Additional Information, or something like that. I don't understand all that is offered, but there is useful information there as to what things are being fixed. Also, I haven't checked, but I am sure that on Apple's help site somewhere the information about each update is available.
