Apple should be allowing .flac support in Music or itunes . Why this artificial barrier? Deejays put music in itunes or in Music to import into dj controllers. Apple has defeated this. Wake up Apple.

Music, like iTunes before it, cannot play FLAC files. You can convert the FLACs to a format Music can handle (such as ALAC) or you can choose another player.

XLD Software would not open due to "possible Malware" contact developer?

Try XLD which is free and has worked well for me over the years.

Thanx for that warning on unapproved apps! However the number of mentions for XLD as a FLAC converter in forums etc. encouraged me to open it...
Well it solved all my problems - works fast and simple..
The problem is converting FLAC files to iTunes compatible files like AIFF. The "Free" converters are all dodgy attempting to get $30 - $50 from an app download?
